Earlier in the semester I posted a picture from abroad studies in Japan. Well as one semester winds down, remember, you can get credits from UVM just about anywhere in the world. My friend Dana took this picture of a glacier on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro during sunrise.

The ground looks like the surface of the moon.
That is absolutely stunning. It looks almost surreal.
I really like how the three sections of nature are so distinct in this photo. The contrast in the rocky gorund and the sunlit glacier is amazing. I also like how the sky is divided (listen to Divided Sky by Phish)...cool shot altogether...must've been amazing first hand...

the landscapes are definitely interesting - it has a kind of 'unearthly' feel. looks like an awesome experience
