Want to get out of Burlington?
I wish I had taken advantage of the abroad programs available through UVM. To anyone with the time left, definitely consider it. Imagine spending a semester in a city like this...

both my brother and sister studied abroad - my sister went to australia and my brother went to Germany. He ended up staying for a full year, and did a tour of Italy and Greece before he came home. That definitely made me wish that I had gone abroad! They both have some amazing pictures, too.
That pic really shows a counter-culture to what we see here. I'd say Burlington is effective in avoiding the bright light big city feel that this pic shows of Japan...cool shot though, the people look like theyre aimless...
I'm going to try to take next semester off so I can go to Japan/Philippines. I was in Thailand over the summer and absolutely loved it...
Travelling is the best thing you can do, especially while we're still young. I've got some amazing pics from a few trips and I can't wait to go abroad again. Stockholm Fall 06'? We'll see....
