Closet

This is a shot of an open storage closet I passed on the 4th floor of WIlliams. I didn't realize that our closets were so decorated.

End of the semester

Well the semester is coming to an end... here's a shot of how we at UVM like to celebrate that. Or heck, how we like to celebrate any night at all. A near miss in this picture, some of the shots were truly awe inspiring that night.

No Parking

A rather amusing shot of campus life. I stepped outside and saw the scene in front of me and had to take the shot.

Campus Cross

I found this visually interesting shape lurking in the construction on campus. It's looking down into the joint between two concrete blocks.

Williams

A picture of Williams. The colors of the building, and a lot of the architecture on campus, have a lot of interesting aspects to them.

My Identity Revealed

Is it 8 o'clock the last day of classes? Yes. Am I trying to complete my blog assignment? Of course. Is that pathetic? Absolutely. But you've all put up with me for 5 months now, and I think you deserve something in return. I've considered the argument over anonymity on the internet, and I think it's bogus. I think you all deserve to know me, so you can appreciate me. So for the first time ever on Visual Campus, I am going to reveal my identity...

I am, El Guapo. The Handsome one.

Bandit

Classes are almost over, which means we can start slacking more than we did during the semester if that is possible. So over winter break, remember, even though Vermont is disgustingly cold, there's always ski season. This shot was taken out west at Jackson Hole, but thanks to the miracle of snowmaking, we have some decent days on the mountain out here as well.

Still want to get out of Vermont?

Earlier in the semester I posted a picture from abroad studies in Japan. Well as one semester winds down, remember, you can get credits from UVM just about anywhere in the world. My friend Dana took this picture of a glacier on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro during sunrise.

Cheap Eats

Sick of eating downtown and spending way too much on a half decent meal? Check out Papa Franks just down the road in Winooski. What do I get out of it?! Hopefully a good tip.

Snow Making

Despite the warm and inconsistent beginning to our Winter...the wonders of snowmaking systems enable the mountains to stay frosted...here are a few trees at Sugarbush, which have been given a solid coating.

Two Paths Diverged at UVM

This picture was taken on the Redstone Path...the diverge creates an interesting feel of choice in this shot. Which way will you go?

Leddy Beach

Furthur north along the coast from North Beach, is Leddy Beach. It's much less crowded than North beach and is only a 2 minute drive furthur up the road. The beach also has an interesting coastline where the trees grow in the sand right up to the edge of the lake. Makes for some really interesting scenery. This photo was taken during sunset.

Do Not Push

I found this hilarious, do people really need to be told not to attempt to push a massive, nasty looking steamroller? Apparently it seems they do, and in conjures up some interesting imagery...

The bear

A moody finding. At least it seems so to me.
